If you find a wildflower you can't identify (Minnesota plants only, please), you can post it on our Facebook page, or you may send me photos and I'll do my best to help ID it. Note that images of both leaves and flowers are often required to correctly ID a plant. Your photos will not be posted on this web site without your permission.
If you are seeking information about subjects other than plant identification (gardening, invasive species control, edible plants, etc.), please first check the links page for additional resources. Thanks in advance.
Finally, I know not all plants are on the web site yet but rest assured they are on my list of things to do when I get time. Keep in mind this site is a volunteer effort so I only work on it in my spare time; during spring and summer especially more time is spent in the field and less on the web site. Regardless, someday we hope to have all 2400+ Minnesota plant species online, plus a host of mushrooms. Wildflower images we have aplenty, what we lack is time!
