Detailed Information

Flower: tube shape
[photo of flower] Trumpet-shaped yellow flower ½ inch across. 5 petals with ruffled or crinkled edges at the end of a 1½ inch long tube. One plant usually has a number of flowers.
Leaves and stem: alternate attachment simple type
[photo of leaves] Leaves are blade-like, up to 2 inches long and not more than ¼ inch wide, pointed at the tip and with a prominent central vein. Leaves and stem are covered in short bristles. Attachment is alternate.
Notes:
Narrow-leaf Puccoon often grows low to the ground, but a single plant may branch out into a small bush.
