2 to 3-inch long funnel-shaped flower. Each flower is 5 petals fused together with a yellow center; petal color ranges from pure white to pale pink or lavender. A flower usually lasts only 1 day. They open in the morning and close in the afternoon, but may stay open all day if the temperature is just right.
Leaves are up to 5 inches long and 3 inches across with smooth edges, typically arrowhead-shaped, and sparsely arranged up the stem. The plant lacks tendrils, so the stem wraps around other plants for support.
